    The Gift Totem Poles
The two totem poles at East Beach are known as The Gift and were established to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Canadian Police (RCMP). The totem poles celebrate and honour the cultures of both the RCMP and the Semiahmoo First Nations.

    The White Rock
White Rock is named for this local landmark, a 423-tonne (466 ton) boulder. Situated on White Rock's beachfront, the White Rock is thought to be a glacial erratic. The rock is not naturally white, but has been painted that colour since the 19th century so that it could be used as a navigation point. In the folklore of the native Semiahmoo people, the son of a Sea God tore the rock from the top of a mountain on Vancouver Island and threw it across the Georgia Strait.
